big tote bag
Limited Edition
Made with rare reclaimed canvas coffee sacks from Yemen, this zero waste design tote is extra roomy for the days when you have a lot to carry. It's perfectly balanced so those large loads are distributed comfortably, has wide cotton webbing handles to be easy on the hands or shoulders. Boxed corners create a sturdy flat bottom reinforced with edge stitching. There are three generous inside pockets to hold wallets, keys, phones etc...
We use every last scrap of a single coffee sack to make one big tote. Each bag is one of a kind. Slight variations in print and patina show signs of their former use, transporting coffee beans from Yemen to be roasted by our friends who saved these bags especially for us.
Because we are committed to zero waste design, sizes may vary by 1 - 2 inches, just like the reclaimed sacks we use do.
Average size is

Our story is told through all of our textiles and our produce bags tell it best.
Like all of our textiles, they began as crops, just like the food they keep fresh. They replace single use and plastic disposables and build on the ancient tradition of letting linen’s antibacterial qualities work for you in the kitchen. Flax grown for linen can be an integral part of regenerative farming systems, helping to build carbon stocks on working landscapes. When your linen products are spent, they are compostable.
We give $4.50 from each produce bag you purchase to regenerative farms.
