reclaimed linen hand-printed tablecloth
Our most cherished belongings should all tell a story, and our tablecloths are no exception. Both hyper-local Philadelphia brands Lobo Mau and Kitchen Garden Textiles are passionate about circular economies and community, which gave way for this collaboration. In the beginning of their life, these tablecloths are made of fine linen, some woven in Lithuania and some woven in Pennsylvania with European yarns including flax and hemp. They were rented out for events; used by both sustainably-minded event companies and the customers who share these values. Once these linens have been washed enough times (and super soft by now!) Lobo Mau hand silk-screens them in house with organic ink and washed once more for color fastness. And now, you come in. By purchasing these reclaimed tablecloths, you are electing to slow down the consumption of perfectly good textiles that would otherwise be landfilled or incinerated. Enjoy your favorite meals with these incredibly unique pieces!
Easy to care for, simply wash cold, dry on low heat or on the line.

Our story is told through all of our textiles and our produce bags tell it best.
Like all of our textiles, they began as crops, just like the food they keep fresh. They replace single use and plastic disposables and build on the ancient tradition of letting linen’s antibacterial qualities work for you in the kitchen. Flax grown for linen can be an integral part of regenerative farming systems, helping to build carbon stocks on working landscapes. When your linen products are spent, they are compostable.
We give $4.50 from each produce bag you purchase to regenerative farms.
