Produce Bags Woven in Pa.
5Limited edition
large natural white tie top produce bag woven in PA!
Designed, woven and sewn in Pennsylvania with 100% organic linen/hemp blend fabric developed especially for us. Made with Italian hemp and French linen yarns gently whitened with peroxide and/or boiling, the resulting natural white hue is beautiful and sustainable.
Why is woven in Pennsylvania important?
We are working to revitalize the long dormant bast (think flax for linen) fiber industry right here in our home state. Supporting Mills that still have the equipment and expertise to weave these fabrics while we work to re-establish the growing and processing of flax for linen is paramount for our success. These produce bags bring us one step closer to our vision of making products from seed to fabric in Pennsylvania.
Build on the ancient tradition of letting linen and hemp's antibacterial qualities work for you in the kitchen with our elegant reusable produce bags. Easy to use, simply dampen the bag, put your moisture loving produce in and pop it in the fridge.
Need to keep your mushrooms and root veggies fresh? Our produce bags are the best for that too! Keep the bags dry, fill with mushrooms or root veggies and store in or out of the fridge. Our linen produce bags keep all your farmers market bounty as fresh as the day you brought it home.

Love my linen bags!
These bags are the best, I feel SO good about NOT putting my precious CSA veggies in plastic.

Beautiful, high quality, super functional produce bags
I ordered four bags and all have been in use since they arrived. They are perfect. They keep all my produce fresh and it is so lovely to open my veg drawers and see these high quality bags rather than plastic, or the old cotton handle bags which I used to use. The shape is perfect.

Love these!
I just love these. I first bought them for a family member for the holidays and then realized I wanted them! EVERYTHING stays fresh for much longer. So very appreciative.

Use it when buying and storing veg
I am not a fan of the grocery store produce bags. I bring this along to the store to keep one more bag on the roll. Once home I wet this down, wring it out and put the veg back in for storage. Works great!

these bags help the crisper do its job!
I purchased three of these linen vegetable bags recently - one for me and two for friends. I really like this bag! Try as I might to eat all of the veggies in my fridge in a timely fashion, I often slack off and things stay in the fridge way too long. This used to result in an accumulation of plastic bags with liquefied or slimy contents in my "crisper" drawer. Not any more! With the linen veggie bag, I am eating most of the vegetables in my fridge instead of composting them. The "crisper" drawer is actually living up to its name, thanks to your linen bags. Thank you!
kitchen garden textiles
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review of our produce bags! KGT is so glad that they're allowing you to keep vegetables fresh so much longer. Enjoy!
Our story is told through all of our textiles and our produce bags tell it best.
Like all of our textiles, they began as crops, just like the food they keep fresh. They replace single use and plastic disposables and build on the ancient tradition of letting linen’s antibacterial qualities work for you in the kitchen. Flax grown for linen can be an integral part of regenerative farming systems, helping to build carbon stocks on working landscapes. When your linen products are spent, they are compostable.
We give $4.50 from each produce bag you purchase to regenerative farms.
